CYBER THUNDER IROC RULES

1.   INTRODUCTION & REGISTRATION

Cyber Thunder IROC is a CTS competition held on Sunday nights. It levels the playing field with everyone driving the same chassis and fixed set-ups and weather.

2.   FORUM

All new members will be sent an invitation to join our forum. please review the forums on a regular basis. the most current information will be posted on the forum board.

4.   SELF SPINS

The 3 self-spin rule will be in effect. Driver's are expected to park their car without being asked to do so once they reach the limit. Self spins not bringing out a caution will not count. The person self spinning should alert the admin during the caution the he self spun.

5.   RESTARTS/RACING BACK TO THE LINE

PASSING ON RESTARTS AND RACING BACK TO THE LINE ARE BOTH ALLOWED. Restarts for the race will happen one time if needed before lap # 3 is completed, one time only. So please don't ask. UNLESS: 1/2 the field gets taken out before lap #3 is completed.

6.   LUCKY DAWG AWARD

after a Caution, Lucky Dawg will be awarded to the first car -1 on the board . Lucky Dawg passes will not be awarded if race is to go green with 10 or less laps to go.

After taking the yellow flag, the lapped car which is highest in the current race standings will be given one lap back. If the lapped car caused the caution, the award will go to the next in position.

The Lucky Dog Award driver will be required to do the following:

Re-enter the track early or speed down pit road and pick up an End of Longest Line Penalty (EOLL)

If EOLL penalty is not given, drop to rear of field after restarting.

After taking green, lap will be given back by admin. The LD is required to call out LD when a caution comes out.

7.   MASTER CAR FILE

We will run the NCTS 2009 v1.2 MOD. A uniform series carfile set will be painted for a new driver. We may require you to attend at least 1 race before painting a truck for new drivers.

8.   Rough or Careless driving!

Rough or Careless driving will be noted and reviewed. If it is deemed intentional, this will result in an immediate suspension/ban from the league.

9.   BLACK FLAGS

The race admin has the discretion to remove black flags or lap penalties. They also have the discretion to issue black flags and give lap penalties.

If you receive a black flag, you may request the Admin to clear it if you are 100% sure the BF is in total error. If requested, the Admin will clear the BF, annotate the driver number and lap and review upon conclusion of the race. Drivers that received the clearing of a BF and if was out of driver error, will be charged a 5 point deduction. If the Admin determines that the cleared BF was truly issued in error, no points will be deducted.

10.   Flaming

Absolutely NO FLAMMING! If you flame on ventrilo or chat you will be ejected from the race and subject to a RC review.

11.   Online COM issues

Please be aware of your COM stability. If you are warping too badly, you will be asked to move to the back of the field. If you are disconnected from a race you will be given laps back equal to -1 on the charts. With 10 to go NO laps will be given back.

12.   POINT SYSTEM

Each driver will be allowed 2 provisionals during the segment. Provisional points will be one position behind the last place finisher. In addition to the points awarded for finishing position, 1 bonus point will be awarded for each of the following: Leading a lap, and winning the Pole.

**To qualify for the Hard Charger Award, you MUST post a qualifying run within 10 mph of the pole sitter.
13.   LAPPERS AND RESTARTS WITH 10 OR LESS LAPS TO GO

Cars that are significantly off the pace are expected to go LOW to allow others to pass without incurring a penalty.

Lapped cars are to do a pit drive through with 10 or less laps remaining so that they will line up at the back of the line.

14.   LOW LINING/BLOCKING

Blocking is allowed in moderation. Erratic movement that can cause an accident will NOT be permitted. Also, if your blocking and you know you are slower than the car behind you then don't be surprised when you get a nudge!

15.   THE RUN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

IROC will use a 3 segment format this season. After each segment, a segment champion will be crowned. A grand champion will be crowned at the end of the season, this being the driver with the highest cumulative points through the 3 segments.
